Okay...I never, ever obcess oover my doll's hair. I seem to be able to style every one of them just fine. But I cannot get Elizabeth's hair to look nice.

Does anyone have directions for putting it in it's partial french braid? I am seriouslt considering sending her in to have it done!

Just start the braid low, at the base of her head instead of on the top of her head.

You can also try something my Lizzie wears-a twist. Simply divide the hair in two sections twist each section moderately then finish off by tying them together with a hair tie. Make sure you tie the hair at the bottom of the neck.

Does anyone have a picture of Elizabeth from the back with her hair in just-out-of-the-box condition? I thought she came with that twisted ponytail thing, I didn't know it was braided. I've seen her in person, I guess I just wasn't paying enough attention to the back of her head!

Ria, thanks for posting those pics! I love her hair color! I don't have a single blonde AG, and i love Elizabeth's hair color, it looks like a golden straw type color.

When Elizabeth gets here, I'll be taking her hair out right away. None of my dolls' hair are as they came. Nellie's is normally in the same style, just because there's not much else you can do with it, but that's it. I consider changing their hair around to be part of doll playing.

That is so odd. The Elizabeth I kept has her hair like this, but the first Elizaebth I got had her hair a different style. It was almost a combination of a french braid and a regular braid. It definitely wasn't a regular braid. I thought it was much prettier than the regular braid on the doll I have now and in the picture above. Ponydreamer, was the braid like the one in the picture or was it different?

My doll had what you are discribing. It wasn't like Ria's picture. It was a combo french and reg. braid. Thanks for the picture, though, Ria.

Weird that so early into Elizabeth's production they already have different hair styles coming out. Maybe a sign they were made a different factories??

Thanks for taking the pictures though, Ria... I never realized how gorgeously colored E's hair was!
